Dear VOC370:

I just saw the video you posted on YouTube! Great!!!

You should know that we, the people working at and for EMPAC,

absolutely admire the great job all of you are doing on the construction site – we think the whole project is really a statement of craftsmen expertise and excellence!

I had an idea a couple of years ago, which I am sorry to say I was not able to realize: Having someone come onto the construction site once a month and take pictures of all people working on EMPAC – one head shot and one shot of their hands actually building that “monster of a building”. And then have all those pictures displayed along one of the long corridor. Too bad, I was not able to pull this project off.

It is hard for us to express to everyone on the construction site how much we appreciate what you are doing – because what you usually here from our end is just “nagging” – if you hear anything from us at all … Maybe we find a way to express to you what we really feel.

At least I personally am highly impressed by what’s being done.

Maybe you can talk to me when you see me on the construction site? Are you still around?

I am the tall guy with grey beard and what’s left of a pony tail …

and I am usually either giving tours through the building or wander about and look at things ..

would be great if you just tell me “I am VOC370”.

And if you are still around on the construction site – would you be so kind and tell the other guys how much we appreciate the work you are all doing – appreciate is actually to weak a word,

I can’t think of  a better one, maybe you can….
